In 2015, 36.6 Competence Centre (Scotland) was set up in Glasgow as a sister company expanding the activities in the UK of the Polish office based in Lodz. Like the Polish Office the Scottish branch is an umbrella organisation who currently work with a number of Further Education Colleges, Community and Associate partners along Private partners and NGOs who deliver bespoke youth training programmes, apprenticeship programmes and specific employment training programmes for those aged 16-24 and 24-60 years of age along with a number of other successful EU projects within various topics. The staff continue to deliver specific motivational and confidence building programmes for both youth and adult target groups. We are also been involved in specific delivery of programmes aligned with programmes aimed developing specific training tools, apprenticeship concepts and quality programmes for adult returners to the labour market.
Our team in Scotland provide support through our educational projects to Scottish organisations within the Glasgow and West of Scotland generating a number of bespoke training materials supporting vocational training and employability. Our educational content includes face-to-face, blended and online training materials delivered on various platforms including Teams and Canvas. 36.6 CC (Scotland) has experienced staff who have all been directly involved within the Industrial sector, we have staff with an Engineering, Project Management, Entrepreneurship Training, Travel and Tourism, Computing (Hard/Software) and On-line learning background, all who have worked within the VET/Adult Education system.
We can assist to develop curriculum frameworks for industry along with the development of on-line e-learning materials and the development of ECVET guidelines.
Our more recent projects include developing training around Meta-Skills, Multicultural and Diversity (META-COIN); new Apprenticeship training for Multicultural Groups - Vocational preparation and integration into apprenticeship of juvenile refugees and youth with emigrational background (BVB); Development of a Digital Training Toolbox to FosteR EU'S IndusTry 4.0 RevoluTion (RESTART); Training in Multilingual strategies and tools for teachers to promote an inclusive education (MULTI-ESKOLA) and a bespoke Language dictionary for Migrants, Refugees and Asylum Seekers (DIM Project).
Our projects are bespoke and designed to support Teachers/Trainers and Management develop new skills and approaches in the delivery of their vocational educational training. Our staff are involved in the development of competency skill of our participants/beneficiaries through the support of well-qualified experts conducting educational, research, cultural and vocational guidance-based activities under framework of international projects. We are fully aware of all Scottish Further Education quality systems and mirror these requirements into all training materials and follow the SQA guidelines within the development of current training materials which are specific the SQA Training descriptors. We have also a fully experience evaluation team who have conducted evaluation across a number of EU projects.
