36,6 Competence Centre (based in Lodz, POLAND) is a non-formal educational organisation established in 2011 by specialists with academic background and experience in EU projects since 1999. We are an umbrella institution gathering professionals from many fields constituting interdisciplinary Experts Zone for the local development through international experience and know-how exchange.
For the last fourteen years we have been involved in 40 European Union projects within LLP (Lifelong Learning Programme), CERV (Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values) Initiatives and Erasmus Plus Key Actions 2 for VET, Adults, Youth, HEI and Schools. More than 50 members of staff and associates have been involved in different activities of bigger or smaller scale at local, regional, national, and European levels. Around 2000 learners and end-users have benefited from our services and nearly 10’000 stakeholders and followers have been reached within dissemination actions both directly and on-line.
Our team provides tailor-made and constantly up-dated and up-graded services dedicated to various target groups. We develop educational content for blended teaching combining traditional face-2-face approach with digital or e-learning including mobile applications and gamification elements. We provide vocational guidance along with internship programmes, mentoring, psychological and coaching support for various groups and individuals. We organise trainings, workshops, seminars, conferences, and courses. We conduct research and needs analysis for scientific publications. We have long-term expertise in project management, monitoring and evaluation. Our marketing unit specialises in networking, dissemination and awareness campaigns with a special focus on social media coverage, which guarantees wide outreach of all our activities.
We are an active player in the following areas: reinforcing hospitality/HoReCa trade representatives and respective vocational schools in favour of work-linked training; introducing modern approaches in management (social innovation or shared leadership); promoting e-learning solutions, digitalisation and audio-visual communication; analysing meta-competences in international working environments; following Artificial Intelligence developments in education and 4.0 Revolution in economy; supporting immigrants and refugees (particularly Ukrainians – first wave arriving in 2014 and currently since February 2022 when war started at our Eastern border); enhancing green solutions in construction industry (sustainable buildings) and other parts of circular economy; increasing employability opportunities through counselling and facilitating start-ups (social enterprises included); co-serving health sector (empowering care-givers for Alzheimer communities, answering post-Covid psychological crisis, preventing from social media addictions); strengthening GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) execution in Polish entities; endorsing reading and literature as well as drama/ theatre-based/ role-playing techniques application.
Our offer is designed for numerous beneficiaries: educators (teachers & trainers at pre-school, primary, secondary and tertiary level within formal educational system and including vocational and non-formal sector); senior citizens; owners of SMEs, representatives of Third sector (NGOs); economically disadvantaged groups (youth, single parents, disabled, long-term unemployed, low-income families), vulnerable individuals at risks of social exclusion due to prejudice and discrimination.
We put particular attention to the pro-environmental factor of our activities making an effort for guaranteeing sustainability-wise effect in all aspects of our work. We engage local communities so to identify actual needs to be fulfilled based on bottom-up approach instead of imposing solutions without real context. We also place great emphasis on the intergenerational aspect of our activities.
